At least one of the warp yarns 102 and the weft yarns 103 is a fiber bundle containing highly contractible synthetic fiber yarns (e.g., yarns containing a low-melting-point filament component 306 having a relatively low melting point and a high-melting-point filament component 307 having a relatively high melting point) so that the strength of the fiber bundle can be increased, and the wear resistance of the woven belt 101 as a whole can be improved.
