The element (1) has a component region (3) provided with a sealing element (4) made of a plastic material, and an injection molded body (5) molded with another plastic material in an assembled condition. The sealing element is molded by a component (2) e.g. electrical component, and a sealing element of an enclosed decoupling frame (7) is arranged in another component region (6) provided for injection molding. The decoupling frame surrounds exterior surfaces (8) of the sealing element and formed in the shape of a pot. The sealing element is made of polyamide e.g. polyamide copolymer and poly propylene copolymer, polyester, caprolactam, adipic acid, hexadecimal diamine and bismethane. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an elongated metal element.
