<p>Sprays that are continuously sprayed from multiple nozzles are regulated with a shielding plate, and an appropriate volume of effective dampening spray corresponding to the ink key setting of an offset printer is continuously supplied to the dampening roller. A spray shielding plate (61) is disposed in the longitudinal direction of the dampening roller (R) between the dampening roller and multiple conical spray nozzles (4) that form a spray pattern with an almost linear portion (3a), which is formed by a portion of the spray pattern margin, and a bottom face with spray pattern margin (3b), the lower part of which is a semicircular arc or polygon and which connects the two ends of said linear portion as base points. The shielding plate faces the spray nozzles (4) and defines the vertical spray width (W) in the rotational direction of the dampening roller. The spray shielding plate is made of a single or multiple shielding plates and each of the shielding plates can move corresponding to the spray nozzles or printer ink keys.</p> |
