PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a chip based credit card service provide a convenient UI(User Interface) for operating applications related to the offer of the credit card service of chip-based. CONSTITUTION: A widget control device(230) extracts a card widget corresponding to the identification code from a database. The widget control device establishes the extracted card widget on the stand-by screen of the mobile terminal. An application control device(240) operates applications related to the fixed card widget according to the generation of the execution event. The application control device offers the credit card service through the driven application.
