METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING A CONTENTS TO CLOSED USER GROUP USING IPTV

PURPOSE: A method and a device for providing a content about a closed user group using an IPTV(Internet Protocol TV) are provided to properly supply the content coinciding with the main interest of the closed user group using a client terminal by obtaining the identification information of the client terminal. CONSTITUTION: An identification information obtaining unit(103) obtains the identification information of a client terminal included in an access request signal. A closed user group determiner(105) determines the closed user group to which the client terminal belongs by using the identification information. A closed user group database unit(107) stores the closed user group information to which the client terminal belongs. A content database unit(111) stores the content to be transmitted to the client terminal. A content selector(109) selects the content corresponding to the determined closed user group.
