METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ß-GLUCANASE AND XYLANASE, AND LIQUID CULTURE MEDIUM

The object is to produce a cellulase having an excellent ability of decomposing a cellulosic resource containing xylan at low cost. Disclosed is a method for producing ß-glucanase and xylanase, which comprises the step of culturing a microorganism belonging to the genus Trichoderma by using a liquid culture medium containing (a) a pulp derived from paper which has not been heated or treated with an alkali as a carbon source and (b) an ammonia nitrogen or an amino nitrogen as a nitrogen source.
