PURPOSE: A method for a chained encryption mode and a device thereof are provided to improve the stability by providing a solution for a modified plaintext and encryption block chained mode. CONSTITUTION: An encryption chaining mode takes a plaintext block N. An encryption key and a plaintext block are combined with the XOR operation. An encryption key is generated by combining the encryption key with the plaintext block. A plaintext block is encrypted by using the encryption algorithm and the encryption key. A ciphertext block is outputted through the encryption of a plaintext block. The encryption key about the first plaintext block is generated by executing the XOR operation between a random initialization vector and a random initialization key. The initialization key is subkey from the key schedule algorithm.
