<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a constitution of various printing systems at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A system 116 includes a sheet supply module 108 which is connected to a modular input/registration unit 10 connected to a tandem-connected double conveying module 64, and a multicolor marking engine module 72 connected to a color fixing module 82 having a single conveying module 64 in an upper part. The modular fixing unit 82 is connected to a lower side reverse/exhaust module 94. The right side interface of the reverse/exhaust module 94 is connected to the left side interface 112 of a post-treatment module 114.
