<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to prevent metal-semiconductor junction from being formed, and characteristics of a solar battery from being deteriorated by sneaking of a semiconductor layer, in a thin-film solar battery in which a first conductive transparent film, the semiconductor layer, and a conductive transparent electrode are formed one by one on one principle surface of a substrate, a metal film is formed on the other surface of the substrate, and the first conductive transparent film is connected with the metal film through a connecting hole opened in the substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In this thin-film solar battery, even if sneaking of the semiconductor layer 13 occurs when forming the semiconductor layer 13, the semiconductor layer can be prevented from being brought into contact with the metal film 16 by forming a third conductive transparent film 18 on the surface of the metal film. Thereby, the metal-semiconductor junction is not formed by contact of the semiconductor film with the metal film, and deterioration of solar battery characteristics which is caused by increase of a leakage current based on the metal-semiconductor junction can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
