<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion guide device free of risk from damage on a thin wall portion even if a thick wall portion and thin wall portion are generated in an introducing part with a turning direction interposed therebetween. <P>SOLUTION: A lid member 16 is furnished with the introducing part 44 whereby a ball 43 rolling on a raceway 11a of a track member 11 is guided to a direction changing path 42. On the section perpendicularly intersecting the direction in which the ball 43 advances, the introducing part 44 includes the thick wall portion 46 and the thin wall portion 47 on both sides with the ball 43 interposed. The rangeαwhere the thick wall portion 46 surrounds the ball 43 is wider than the rangeβwhere the thin wall portion 47 surrounds the ball 43. The angleθ1 formed by the first contact angle line L1 connecting the contact point P1 between the ball 43 and the thick wall portion 46 with the center C of the ball 43 relative to the turning direction (2) in which the ball 43 is guided from the raceway 11a to the direction changing path 42, is smaller than the angleθ2 formed by the second contact angle line L2 connecting the contact point P2 between the ball 43 and the thin wall portion 47 with the center C of the ball 43 relative to the turning direction (2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
