PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition which is environmentally excellent, excellent in safety and health aspects, and excellent in appearance characteristics such as coloring property and surface characteristics, has practically adequate mechanical properties, hardly causes problems such adhesion of a flame retardant to a mold in injection molding, and has good molding workability and excellent flame retardancy. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains (A) 10-95 mass% of a polyphenylene ether, (B) 90-5 mass% of a rubber-modified polystyrene, and (C) 0-40 mass% of a phosphorus compound as a flame retardant, provided that the total amount of (A), (B) and (C) is set to be 100 mass%, and the resin composition further contains (D) a dye as a colorant. The rubber-modified polystyrene (B) contains rubber particles, the configuration of the rubber particles consists mainly of a multicellular structure, and the rubber particles have an average particle diameter of 0.3-1.0μm. The rubber-modified polystyrene (B) has a rubber content of 3-20 mass% based on 100 mass% of the rubber-modified polystyrene. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
