<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus having an attaching structure of a grip belt that suppresses cost, achieves miniaturization, provides a stable holding state regardless of a size of a hand of a photographing person, and elongates the pull-around length of the grip belt. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has the grip belt for holding a device body hung on a front-end grip belt attaching section and a rear-end grip belt attaching section. The rear-end grip belt attaching section is disposed in a rear part on the right surface of the device body and in a part upper than the front-end grip belt attaching section. The front-end grip belt attaching section is disposed on the front side of the bottom surface of the device body while being tilted at an angle at which it approaches the optical axis direction as going forward while it is substantially parallel with the optical axis.
