<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile weatherstrip responding to the need for a lightweight automobile and having a large grip force of a flange of a vehicle body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The automobile weatherstrip 10 includes a trim 20 and a hollow seal section 40. The trim 20 has a substantially U-shaped cross section formed of a vehicle outside sidewall 21, a bottom wall 23 and a vehicle inside sidewall 22. Flange holding lips 24, 25, 26 and 27 are extended from the inner surface of the trim 20. The vehicle outside sidewall 21, the bottom wall 23 and the vehicle inside sidewall 22 are formed of hard materials of rubber or thermoplastic elastomers. The vehicle outside sidewall 21 and the vehicle inside sidewall 22 are extended at a substantially right angle from the bottom wall 23. The radius of curvature of each of corners 21b and 22b formed between the vehicle outside sidewall 21 and the bottom wall 23 and between the vehicle inside sidewall 22 and the bottom wall 23 is 0.2-2 mm. A bent portion 22c is formed in the vehicle outside sidewall 21 or the vehicle inside sidewall 22, and a tip from the bent portion 22c is formed to be close to the opposite sidewall direction.
