<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the marine isolation method of carbon dioxide, which is applied to a ship towage system of a marine isolation technique for dissolving/diluting a large quantity of carbon dioxide in the intermediate layer of the ocean and in which carbon dioxide is dissolved by making effective use of the intermediate layer of the ocean being a specified discharge site. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The marine isolation method of carbon dioxide, in which carbon dioxide is discharged to the intermediate layer of the ocean from discharge nozzles Nn of pipelines Pn to be towed by ships Sn and dissolved/diluted therein, comprises a step of vertically decentralizing the discharge depths of the carbon dioxide to be discharged to the intermediate layer of the ocean from the pipelines Pn.
