PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a particle array structure, by which a particle array structure having a high-quality colloidal crystal can be obtained in a short time. SOLUTION: The production method of a particle array structure includes a step of arranging particles by concentrating a dispersion liquid prepared by dispersing monodispersion particles in an aqueous medium by a reverse osmosis method, so as to obtain a particle array structure that develops a structural color.
