PURPOSE: A backlight unit for a liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent display quality deterioration due to luminance non-uniformity of the liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: Lamps(124) are arranged on a reflective sheet(122). A diffusing plate(126) is interposed on the lamp. A diffusing sheet(128) is interposed on the diffusing plate. The first light concentrating sheet(130a) is on the diffusing sheet. The first light concentrating sheet includes the first and second patterns which are arranged with a fixed period in the same direction. |
