SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING UBIQUITOUS SERVICE

The present invention relates to a system for providing a ubiquitous service. In order to provide an external device with a certain ubiquitous service corresponding to the profile information of the device when receiving a request for the certain ubiquitous service from the device, the system: receives the profile information of the device; compares the profile information of the device with prestored profile information; and provides the device with the certain ubiquitous service corresponding to the relevant profile information if the relevant profile information that is identical to the profile information of the device is stored. The disclosed system is able to provide a certain ubiquitous service appropriate to the profile information of each device by comparing and analyzing the prestored profile information with the profile information of the device that requests the certain ubiquitous service. In addition, if there is no profile information identical to the profile information of the device, the system can provide the device with a certain ubiquitous service corresponding to the profile information that is most similar to the profile information of the device. Therefore, the system is able to increase the chance and possibility of the use of the certain ubiquitous service.
