REMOTE RF UNIT TEST APPARATUS AND METHOD IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A remote RF unit test apparatus in a wireless communication system and a method thereof are provided to text a CPRI(Common Public Radio Interface) function and a maintenance integrated function by providing various testing environments to test the operation of a remote RF unit. CONSTITUTION: A clock generator(240) sets up a reference clock, and a modem generates first test data for testing the transmission property of a remote RF unit according to the reference clock. A data storage unit(260) stores the second test data for testing the transmission property of the remote RF unit. A data converter(250) converts the first or second test data into a CPRI format.
