PURPOSE: A tap piece for generating the welding begin arc in arc welding is provided to separate a base material and a tap piece by removing welding residue without a separate plasma cutting device after welding. CONSTITUTION: A tap piece comprises a body(41), a recessed part(44), an arc generating part(43), and a fixing member. The body is formed with a nonconductive material. The recessed part is formed in one side of the body. The recessed part forms a groove of a fan shape. The arch generating part is inserted in the end part of the recessed part. The arch generating part is formed into the conductive material in order to generate the welding begin arc. The fixing member clinches the tap piece on a base material.
