<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared camera device which can be used outdoors, is inexpensive and has high reliability in performance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An infrared camera 11 is hermetically sealed and housed by an infrared camera housing 12 which houses and holds the infrared camera 11, and a protective plate 13 which is arranged on the front surface of the infrared camera 11 and transmits infrared rays.
