<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting method for determining an optimal maintenance time by predicting a life of an objective facility, and to provide a computer program, and a supporting device that predicts a life of an objective facility so as to determine an optimal maintenance time thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This supporting method includes a step 1 of estimating the number of repeating times of application of fluctuation stress at a bearing part on the basis of a time change of a power or a current of an electric motor in an objective facility and obtaining a consumption rate of a life so as to determine a remaining life, a step 2 of tracing a progress of a deteriorating condition by an exponentiation rule of a time change rate of a vibration speed obtained from a vibration sensor attached to the bearing part so as to estimate a time point of reaching a dangerous region, and a step 3 of determining a remaining life in accordance with the step 1 and step 2 in a late stage of a caution region on the basis of a result of vibration diagnosis in the step 2.
