<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling means of a traction vehicle avoiding that a coupling pin is suddenly broken before a driver is aware of that. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A coupling means of a traction vehicle includes upper and lower brackets 31 and 32 disposed at a vehicle body rear end 2a; and the coupling pin 30 vertically detachable to these brackets 31 and 32. A towed vehicle is coupled through the coupling pin 30 inserted into the brackets 31 and 32. The coupling pin 30 has a double structure made up of an inner pin 300 and an outer pipe 301 fit into the inner pin 300. The outer pipe 301 is sandwiched by a flange part 304 disposed in an upper part of the inner pin 300, and a cap part 303 disposed in a lower part of the inner pin 300.
