<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material enabling an attached document to be put in and taken out independently of a shape of an article to be packaged. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The packaging material 1 includes: a front side surface 10 formed in a vertical posture; an opening 11 formed on the front side surface 10; a bottom surface 30 connected to the lower end of the front side surface 10 and extending perpendicularly to the front side surface 10; a first inner surface 40 connected to an end of the bottom surface 30 different from an end of the front side surface 10 and extending in the vertical direction perpendicularly to the bottom surface 30; an upper surface 50 connected to the end of the first inner surface 40 different from the end of the bottom surface 30 and extending to the front side surface 10 perpendicularly to the first inner surface 40; and a second inner surface 60 connected to an end of the upper surface 50 different from an end of the first inner surface 40, extending to the bottom surface 30 perpendicularly to the upper surface 50 and reaching the bottom surface 30 to form a clearance 80 communicating with the opening 11 between the reverse of the front side surface 10 and itself.
