The invention relates to a solar collector comprising at least a housing (1), the upper side thereof facing the sun being provided with a cover (2) which is transparent to solar radiation and at least the bottom side thereof facing away from the sun comprising a thermally insulating layer (3), wherein an absorber (4) is placed in the housing (1) between the thermally insulating layer (3) and the cover (2). Said absorber is composed of several strips (4.1, 4.2) which are oriented in at least two non-parallel directions - direction A and direction B -, both forming jointly and in an alternating arrangement a zigzag-folded surface which extends from a first lateral wall (8) of the housing (1) to the opposite second lateral wall of the housing (1). The solar collector further comprises a device for heat dissipation, which evacuates the absorbed heat via the heat carrier flowing around the absorber (4). The invention is characterized in that the folding edges of the zigzag-folded surface of the absorber (4) extend essentially in the horizontal direction when the solar collector is in a set-up position, wherein the strips (4.2) of the absorber (4), which are oriented in the direction B, are aligned in such a manner that, for the purpose of automatically regulating the radiation power, the strips (4.1) oriented in the direction A are at least partially shadowed in relation to the incident solar radiation when the height of the sun is above 15°. |
