A method for obtaining upward/ downward channels reciprocity and a device thereof are provided. The method includes that at least one downward carrier wave is selected from N carrier waves; and at least one sounding reference symbol SRS is carried on the downward carrier wave. The N carrier waves include symmetrical carrier waves and unsymmetrical carrier waves, or all of the N carrier waves are unsymmetrical carrier waves. A carrier wave converging method in a FDD system and a device thereof are provided, which can obtain upward/ downward channels reciprocity in the FDD system.
