PURPOSE: A parameter estimation apparatus and a method of a wideband multi-antenna wireless channel are provided to accurately estimate a channel parameter by extracting a channel tap of clusters comprising multiple paths having same characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A representative value determiner comprises: a cluster unit(110) which determines the number of clusters, the representative value of a cluster channel tab and power ratio. A multi-path allocator(120) allocates the multiples paths corresponding to the power ratio to the clusters. Based on the representative values of the cluster channel tab, a multi-path channel tab determiners(130) determines the channel tab of the multiple paths.
