AN ACQUISITION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF HIGH QUALITY EYE IMAGES FOR IRIS RECOGNITION

PURPOSE: An acquisition system and method of high quality eye images for iris recognition are provided to be switched into a main photographic mode when a standard quality of service is greater thereby acquiring a high quality eye image. CONSTITUTION: One or more eye images is acquired in a pre picturing mode and stored on a buffer. Image quality of an eye image storing on the buffer is measured. The image quality is compared with the standards quality condition. If the standard quality condition is satisfied with, a camera is switched into a main picturing mode. Eye image photographed in the photographic mode is stored on the buffer. The final eye image is selected among images saved in the photographic mode.
