<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interior material structure of a vehicle capable of preventing the breakage of a pillar trim during the deployment of a curtain air bag disposed at the vehicle inner side in a folded state from a roof side of a vehicle body along a front pillar. <P>SOLUTION: A surrounding member 40 surrounding the curtain air bag 21 in a folded state with a roof side 5 and a front pillar 6 is disposed at a part X adjacent to a front pillar trim 12 and a top ceiling 11. The surrounding member 40 is constituted to guide the deployment of the curtain air bag 21 by fixing an edge 40a of the curtain air bag 21 at a side opposite to a deployment direction to the front pillar 6. An edge 40c at the deployment direction side is formed adjacent to a rear edge 12a of the front pillar trim 12 to restrain the deformation of the rear edge 12a of the front pillar trim 12 during the deployment of the curtain air bag 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
