<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply switching device capable of safely and simply switching a commercial power supply line and a generator power supply line. <P>SOLUTION: The device for switching the power supply includes a line switch 23 interposed to the commercial power supply line and the switch 29 for delay, and a line switch 37 interposed to the generator power supply line and an electromagnetic type switch 43 for delay. The line switch interposed on one power supply line side is opened by the supplied power between the line switch for the power supply line on the other side and the switch for delay. The switch for delay is closed by the supplied power between the line switch for its own interposed power supply line and the switch for delay. The switches 23 and 29 are automatically opened and the switches 37 and 43 are closed by only starting a generator power supply 11 when restoring a commercial power supply 3.
