PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus for reducing a sense of incompatibility such as a step of images caused by a difference in non-linearity among a plurality of A/D converters, with simple configuration and in simple processing. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a detection section including a plurality of pixels 201 that are arranged in a matrix and that are divided into at least first and second pixel groups 101a, b; a signal processing section 106 including first and second readout circuits 103a, b and first and second A/D converters 104a, b; a power supply section 107 arranged to supply the signal processing section 106 with respective corresponding biases; and a control section 110 arranged to control at least one of the signal processing section 106 and the power supply section 107. The control section 110 is arranged to perform processing of altering an analog electric signal for being input into at least one of the first and second A/D converters 104a, b or altering an A/D conversion characteristic of at least one of the first and second A/D converters 104a, b.
