<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of processing during a wrapping process of a head slider. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of processing a magnetic head includes the steps of: (a) cutting out a block of a bar state including a cut surface 1a and a cut surface 1b in a longitudinal direction from a wafer W having a magnetic head 24 formed thereon; (b) forming a film 2 higher than an undulation height of the cut surface 1a and then flattening the film 2; (c) bonding the block 1 and a wrapping fixture 10 on the cut surface 1a side via an adhesive resin 3 thinner than the film 2; and (d) wrapping the cut surface 1b which is a surface opposite a medium to set a size of the magnetic head 24 in a height direction.
