<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water storage type water heater equipped with a low-cost water heater body easy to be conveyed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hot-water storage type water heater includes the water heater body 40 comprising an approximately rectangular parallelepiped packaging case 30 which stores a hot-water storage tank 10, and supplies hot water stored in the hot-water storage tank to a predetermined destination to be supplied with the hot water. Handle parts 27a, 27b are installed on respective right/left side surfaces of the packaging case (a right side surface casing part 30b, a left side surface casing), which makes it easy to convey the water heater body by a single person by "letting it walk".
