PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve easy replacement of a baffle plate, which is the most important in terms of maintenance of a baffle type coating booth, less load of a worker, and cost reduction. SOLUTION: The baffle to be used for a dry coating booth is formed into a box-shaped baffle casing by providing a plurality of long U-shaped cut lines vertically extending in approximately whole area of the flat plate in parallel and alternately, and folding the plate along lines connecting both ends of the respective cut lines to form an open window and raising up the circumference of the flat plate. The baffle casing is combined with another baffle casing in a manner that the position of the open window of the former is alternated with that of the open window of the latter when the baffle casings are set on the opposite to one another and the baffle casings are assembled in the coating booth. Each baffle casing is made of corrugated cardboard and the cut line positions are made bilaterally asymmetric, and the positions of the open windows can be made alternate when the baffle casings are set face to face.
