PURPOSE: A bellows type mechanical sealing assembly is provided to increase the contact force of a sliding sealing surface between the rotor and the stator when a hydraulic pressure is applied to the bellows. CONSTITUTION: A bellows type mechanical sealing assembly comprises a pair of sealing rings(116,118), a bellows(128), and a stator(124). The sealing rings are installed on a shaft(114). The bellows is arranged between the sealing rings and elastically pressurizes one or both of the sealing rings. The stator is fixed to the shaft to rotate with the shaft and makes slide-contact with one of the sealing rings. |
