PURPOSE: An adaptive queue point mapping method for RSCP(Received Signal Code Power) measurement is provided to reduce the size of a memory by calculating an optimized reception signal code power through only smaller bits. CONSTITUTION: The power of entire signals passing through a pulse shaping filter is measured, and an RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) is outputted. A signal is converted into a digital signal after passing through an RF terminal(10), an AGC(Automatic Gain Control)(20) and an A/D converter(30). According to the power range proportional to the reception electric field sensitivity measurement value, the number of saturated bits and removing bits are adjusted. The positions of use bits are changed through the adjustment, and reception signal code power is calculated by applying an optimized queue point mapping value to the changed use bits. |
