<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for recording a broadcast program capable of reducing the cases where recording of broadcast signals are suspended in a situation where the recording of the broadcast signals does not have to be suspended while reducing recording of broadcast signals that can not be reproduced. <P>SOLUTION: This device for recording a broadcast program includes: a reception means to receive a broadcast signal representing a program; a recording means to record the broadcast signal received by the reception means in a recording medium; and a control means to suspend the recording by the recording means when reception quality of the broadcast signal received by the reception means is lower than a specified value for a specified period, and thereafter restart the recording by the recording means when the reception quality is equal to or more than the specified value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
