<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in accuracy of estimating the position of a magnetic pole while suppressing an increase in operation load. <P>SOLUTION: A device for estimating the position of the magnetic pole of a motor includes: a magnetic pole position error estimating part 46 which estimates the phase difference Δθe of a γδ coordinate system to a dq coordinate system, utilizing that an induced voltage generated by a motor 11 changes by its rotational speed; and a rotational speed-magnetic pole position operating part 47 which calculates the estimate θe of the position of the magnetic pole from the phase difference Δθe. The magnetic pole position error estimating part 46 calculates a model current by a discrete time state equation, which is obtained by discretizing the simple voltage equation of the motor 11 by 0-order hold in the sampling time by one cycle Ts of a carrier signal, and estimates the phase difference Δθe, based on the current deviation between an actual current applied to the motor 11 and the model current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
