TRAVELING DEVICE IN DERAILMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling device in derailment for preventing a railroad vehicle from overturning even when derailment occurs at a rail turnout part. SOLUTION: The traveling devices 1 in derailment are disposed along both side faces of a main rail R1 in a turnout section including an intersecting section of the main rail R1 and a switch rail. Each traveling device has a travel way 11 for allowing wheels Tw in derailment to travel, on the upper face. The travel way 10 has such a longitudinal gradient that the height of the travel way 10 at the starting point of the turnout section is low to the extent allowing the wheel Tw in derailment to run up and that the height of the travel way 10 at a part intersecting the switch rail is equivalent to the height of the upper face of the main rail R1.
