PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic determining device, a cosmetic determining method, and a recording medium incorporating a cosmetic determining program by which cosmetic determining can be carried out by more useful doctor's questions based on the classification of skin types scientifically obtained by a statistical method. SOLUTION: A confirming screen for confirming the execution of the cosmetic determination is displayed when inputting all of the doctor's question articles in the cosmetic determining device. It is determined in which quadrant the cosmetic determination is located from the two-dimensional plot location of customer input data values on the distribution map constituted by arranging score data of "sebum excess" relating article and score data of "dry skin" relating article in orthogonal axes. A sebum excess type dry skin (hidden dry skin), a fatty skin, a dry skin, or an ordinary skin is determined according to two-dimensional plot locations of right upper, right lower, left upper, or left lower quadrant and that is answered and displayed. Useful cosmetic advice can be provided by properly determining the hidden dry skin and the fatty skin that can not been found out by a conventional doctor's question system.
