PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily decide whether a file, from among the files in which moving images are recorded, is one in which a moving image photographed throughout a period, starting from a predetermined time or earlier, before a prescribed designation operation to the designation operation is recorded. SOLUTION: An apparatus for imaging, recording, and reproducing to be disclosed includes: a first record processing means for recording a moving image photographed by an imaging means, based on a prescribed designation operation by a user after the designation operation; a second record processing means for recording a moving image photographed by the imaging means throughout the period from a predetermined time or earlier, before the designation operation to the designation operation; a file-forming means for forming the moving image recorded by the first record processing means and the moving image recorded by the second record processing means as a single moving image file; and a display control means for displaying an image that is related to the moving image that is stored by the first record processing means and an image that is related to the moving image stored by the second record processing means, by shifting the display position of one image from that of the other, while superimposing the one on top of the other, for each moving image file formed by the file-forming means.
