PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular saw blade enabling the quality of the cutting surface to be improved by suppressing the extreme lowering of the rigidity of the tooth part. SOLUTION: The cutting position angle α of a cutting position line l which connects the opening end 34a of a slit 34 to the center of rotation O thereof to a reference virtual line L which connects the tooth top of a rear tooth 14B to the center of rotation O thereof is set so as to come within the range of 0.25-0.5 times the tooth top center angle θ formed by both tooth tops 36, 36. The cutting position angle α is set so as to be larger than the tooth bottom position angle γ of a tooth bottom position line n which connects the tooth bottom part 22 of a tooth chamber 20 to the center of rotation thereof to the reference virtual line L which connects the tooth top 36 of the rear tooth 14B and the center of rotation O thereof. The terminal position angle β of the terminal position line m which connects the terminal 34b of a slit 34 and the center of rotation O thereof to the reference virtual line L which connects the tooth top 36 of the rear tooth 14B and the center of rotation O thereof is set so as to come within the range of 0.25-0.5 times the tooth top center angle θ.
