PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus capable of improving the performance of removing a substance to be removed without rising cost and upsizing an apparatus. SOLUTION: The water treatment apparatus 1 is provided with: an electrolyzing means for electrolyzing the first raw water which is to be treated and is introduced into an electrolysis reaction tank 12; a mixing means for introducing both of the second raw water, which is to be treated and contains the substance to be removed, and the electrolyzed water produced by the electrolyzing means into a mixing reaction tank 14 and mixing them with each other to produce an aggregate of the substance which is to be removed and is contained in the mixed water; and a precipitating means for retaining the mixed/treated water sent from the mixing reaction tank 14 in a precipitation tank 16 to precipitate the produced aggregate. The mixing means is used for introducing at least a part of the precipitate precipitated in the precipitation tank 16 into the mixing reaction tank to further mix the electrolyzed water with the second raw water to be treated.
