<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction gear wiping out and at the same time sucking and agilely removing dust lying in a narrow gap between a piece of furniture and a wall or a floor and a vacuum cleaner provided with it. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The suction gear 1 includes a coupling part 5 to be attachably/detachably connected to a hose unit of the vacuum cleaner and a suction part 2 that is integrally formed with the coupling part 5, hollow, flat and long in an axial direction of the hose unit. The suction part 2 includes a plurality of suction holes 6 communicating with a hollow part 3 and provided on the upper face 2a and the lower face 2b in a longitudinal direction at specified intervals, wherein fabrics 7 are longitudinally provided along the holes 6.
