PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antimicrobial agent composition exhibiting an excellent antimicrobial action on a product having a hard surface. SOLUTION: The antimicrobial agent composition includes a compound (A) represented by general formula (I), R-OH (wherein R is 8-14C straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl or alkenyl), a surfactant (B) and hydrogen peroxide and/or a compound (C) releasing hydrogen peroxide in water in the weight ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) of the weight of the component (A)/the weight of the component (B) of≤2.
