PURPOSE: A sauce composition for fried rice cake and a manufacturing method of the sauce composition are provided to make traditional taste and flavor for the fried rice cake while offering beneficial effects to the fried rice cake by adding herbal medicine extract. CONSTITUTION: A sauce composition for fried rice cake is manufactured by mixing malt corn syrup 60wt%~80wt%, grain syrup 1wt%~5wt%, herb medicine extract 0.1wt%~3wt%, soy sauce 2wt%~10wt%, cayenne pepper 0.1wt%~20wt%, ginger powder 0.1wt%~3wt%, cinnamon powder 0.1wt%~3wt%, starch 1wt%~5wt%, garlic 2wt%~10wt%, and onion 2wt%~10wt% etc. Herbal medicine extract is manufactured by adding Astragali Radix 5wt%~15wt%, ginseng 5wt%~15wt%, Angelicae Radix 5wt%~15wt%, Cnidii Rhizoma 5wt%~15wt%, Glycyrrhizae Radix 5wt%~15wt%, Atractylodis Lanceae Rhizoma 5wt%~15wt%, and Hovenia dulcis Thunb 5wt%~15wt% etc.
