PURPOSE: A display panel and a method of manufacturing the same are provided to apply a voltage to an array substrate during a process for manufacturing an array substrate, thereby testing and repairing a transistor. CONSTITUTION: The second substrate(101) includes a display area and a peripheral area. A transistor layer includes at least one transistor connected to a gate line and a data line. One or more color filters(161,162) are formed on the transistor layer within a pixel area. A light blocking member(181) is located between the color filters. A pixel electrode is arranged on the color filter. An opaque spacer maintains the cell gap between the second substrate and the first substrate.
