PURPOSE: A water softener is provided to offer hot water of a desired temperature adjusted for a consumer when the water softener is operated by attaching a heater member on a soft water container for the hot water. CONSTITUTION: A water softener comprises the following: an inflow part(31) receiving hot water; an outflow part(32) discharging the hot water; a soft water container(30) in which exchange resin is built; and a heater member(40) preventing heat loss by heating the soft water container for the hot water, and is attached on the soft water container part. The water softener further includes a generator discharging the heater member.
