PURPOSE: A scintillator, a high energy radiation detector thereof, and a positron emission tomography thereof are provided to improve the resolution by forming a reflective film in the side of a scintillation crystal cell. CONSTITUTION: A scintillator(10) comprises a plurality of scintillation crystal cells(11) and a reflective film(13). A scintillation crystal cell has a polygonal pillar shape. The reflective film is formed in at least one side of the scintillation crystal cell. A photoelectric conversion part(20) comprises a detection cell and a photomultiplier. The detection cell senses the flashing light signal generated from a plurality of scintillation crystal cells. The photomultiplier changes the flashing light signal to the electric signal.
