<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator for a fuel cell having superior strength and corrosion resistance, and small connection resistance, and also provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the separator for the fuel cell, a metal substrate 2 having groove parts 3 on at least one face, and a conductive resin layer 4 formed by electrodeposition so as to cover the entire face including a front face 2A, a rear face 2B, and the groove parts 3 of this metal substrate 2 are equipped. A region to cover the front face 2A and the rear face 2B of the metal substrate 2 out of the conductive resin layer 4 is made to have a flat face in a state that fine recessed parts 4a formed in the conductive resin layer 4 are filled with a corrosion resistant resin layer 5a. Other regions of the conductive resin layer 4 including the region to cover the groove parts 3 are covered with a corrosion resistant resin layer 5b, the conductive resin layer 4 contains a conductive material, and the corrosion resistant resin layers 5a, 5b are made to have electrically insulating properties. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
