<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy viewing/listening even when a bar code is not attached to a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: A viewing/listening system includes an editing device 16, a server 18, and a viewing/listening device 20. The editing device 16 extracts viewing/listening data from the recording medium 12, and generates an image ID by use of a label face image of the recording medium, or a front face image and a rear face image of a jacket of the recording medium. The image ID and the viewing/listening data are associated, are transmitted to the server 18, and are stored. For performing viewing/listening, the recording medium desired to be viewed/listened to is installed in the viewing/listening device 20, the image ID is similarly generated from the label face image or the image of the jacket and is transmitted to the server 18, and the corresponding viewing/listening data are read and viewed/listened to. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
